fun fact
it all started in my nana’s kitchen. she would bake in units of laundry hampers: one hamper of treats for each family member. i was her tiny helper, dusting cookies and packing pies into those hampers, a love language implicitly understood even then. decades later i continue her legacy, a labour of love passed down through generations of sicilian-canadian women.
